The Floating Lantern Co. is a body care and cosmetics brand dedicated to creating fun, fandom-inspired self-care.

When I was 13, I was diagnosed with severe depression. One of the hardest things for me was maintaining basic self-care. No amount of self-talk could convince me to do it, and it often felt overwhelming. My confidence was almost nonexistent, and taking care of myself rarely felt worth the effort.

In 2019, I had an epiphany: what if my self-care products were based on the things I loved? If my routines felt fun and exciting, maybe I’d actually want to do them.

That idea sparked a two-year journey into learning everything I could about skincare and cosmetics. I attended esthetician school and spent two years working in a spa, performing treatments and learning firsthand what the industry was missing.

As I started creating my own products and coming up with fun shower and self-care combinations inspired by the fandoms I loved, something unexpected happened- my confidence started to grow. Self-care stopped feeling like a chore and started feeling like something I genuinely looked forward to.

After perfecting our formulas, The Floating Lantern Co. officially launched on April 21st, 2021 and my life has been so much better since.

My goal for this business is simple: to remind people that they deserve to take care of themselves and feel confident in their own skin.

Our body care products are handcrafted in small batches to ensure quality. Our cosmetics are manufactured in partnership with a state-of-the-art, certified, and regulated lab to ensure both safety and consistency.
